“Armed
Forces Day Celebration Downtown” event
in Downtown Panama City, FL on Saturday, May 19th,
2007. The event begins at 8am and continues until
2pm. Shop downtown and listen to live entertainment
as we celebrate our nation’s Armed Forces! Beginning
at 8am, shops along Harrison Avenue will be holding
an Armed Forces Day Sidewalk Sale with merchandise
discounted as much as 75% off! At 9am, join Main Street’s
newest group of walkers, joggers and trotters as the
Main Street Striders take their mark at the corner
of 4thStreet and Harrison Avenue and set |

for a healthy morning stride through beautiful Downtown
Panama City! At 10:30am, listen to author and columnist,
Sarah Smiley at the Bay County Library as she wittily
tells stories of her life as Navy spouse and military
supporter. Beginning at 11am and continuing throughout
the afternoon, listen to the music of the 98th Army
“Silver Wings” Band in McKenzie Park.

McKenzie Park for a special book signing and story-telling
