online and print magazine beginning in June 2007. Panama
City Coastline provides and accepts articles and pictures
about Panama City and Panama City Beach Florida, Spring
Break and more. If you wish to contribute a picture or

Jazz at Kaleidoscope
with Sharon & Amanda
• Mark your
calendars – on May 25 at 7:30 p.m. Kaleidoscope
Theater will be hosting An Evening of
Jazz with Sharon Carroll, Amanda Matthews &
Friends to benefit the theater's “Bring Down
the House” fund-raising campaign! They will
be performing a diverse selection of songs ranging
from jazz standards like “Blue Skies,”
“Body and Soul” and “The Nearness
of You” to the sassy Latin tune, “Aqua
de Beber” and the unexpected,“Lucky
to Be Me” from the musical On the Town. They
will also
debut their first original tune! Carroll and Matthews
are

joined
by two outstanding musicians; Steve Gilmore on bass
and Steve Ferry on drums! The group will be recording
their first CD together the
following week at Studio 812 in Lynn Haven. The evening
will also feature a silent art auction and works for
sale by local artists. Following the
performance, the audience is invited to meet the band
at a wine and cheese reception in the lobby and courtyard.
Carroll and Matthews hope to contribute to Kaleidoscope’s
efforts to raise nearly $1,000,000 to build a new
support facility and black box theater in order to
host more diverse events.
